I admit, since I was a child, I have always dreamed of organizing a Disney themed wedding and recently, surprisingly, I have received so many requests. First of all, let’s make it clear that organizing a wedding is something extremely complex and therefore if you have little time it is better to rely on an expert and professional person who will take care of the entire organization in the best possible way. First of all, I always say this to all the married couples I follow: It is advisable, at least in the initial phase, to make a very precise outline of some important points.
Let’s immediately decide the budget we want to allocate to our wedding and the amount we absolutely don’t want to exceed, then it will be useful to write down all the suppliers’ items and how much we want to allocate to any supplier, fearing that the largest portion of the budget will certainly be reserved to the location and the catering, we can then divide the budget between the car, the make-up, the hairstylist, the dress, the accessories, the wedding favors, the wedding planner’s fee (in case we choose to be followed by an expert), the flowers design, the photographer and videomaker, the graphics, the invitations etc etc. Subsequently the first things to choose are the dress that will be in harmony with the style of the location and indeed the location and only then do we begin to evaluate the color palette or the theme but if, in fact, we want a fairytale theme then we should adapt all our choices on the theme. First of all, when we talk about a Disney theme we mean all the Disney characters or we have a very specific character in mind such as Jasmine or Cinderella or Belle.
At that point we evaluate the main colors based on the choice of the character and then identify the details that most capture our attention and what we want to convey from here details.
Most Disney films have a moral and above all the characters have insurmountable values. Therefore we can choose to highlight the details that most recall those values or that moral or that story chosen because it is similar to our love story.
If we instead choose the Disney theme in general we could focus our attention only on some cartoons that in our opinion have something in common and above all that have a similar color palette. Cinderella, the Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty all have a pastel color palette.
Surely the important thing is not to overdo it with too many disharmonious details but rather to create harmony and uniqueness. The ideas are endless both for the floral project and for the graphics and design. The important thing is to look for unique, personalized and not at all obvious solutions.
